Explore two of Morocco’s renowned kasbahs on this private excursion from Marrakech. Traverse the Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages, to reach the remnants of the Telouet Kasbah, formerly belonging to the Pacha of the Atlas. Next, visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has provided the backdrop for numerous Hollywood blockbusters, and learn about its rich history from your guide.
In the morning, we set off towards Taznakht. En route, we drive through a valley adorned with abundant palm trees. After reaching Taznakht, we proceed along scenic tracks to a valley rich with palm trees. Following a lunch stop in Foum Zguid, our journey continues along tracks leading to Lake Iriqui. Before reaching the initial dunes, we take a brief pause. As the day progresses, we arrive at the desert camp in Chegaga just before sunset, allowing us to ascend the tallest dunes and relish the captivating sunset. Dinner will be served in the camp's restaurant.
Following breakfast, embark on a brief camel trek around the desert camp. Subsequently, we drive towards M’hamid, covering a distance of 64 km through the Hamada desert, dunes, and oases. Upon reaching M’hamid, we take a break in Tamegrout to explore the Koranic library. Following lunch in Zagora, our journey continues through the Draa Valley, ultimately reaching Ouarzazate.
