Itinerary

Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate Day Trip

Our day trip to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs begins at 09:00 from Marrakech, navigating the High Atlas through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, the road crossing the highest mountain in North Africa. Along the journey, relish the sight of summits and traditional Berber villages. Upon reaching the fortified Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage site), immerse yourself in the charm of its splendid Kasbahs. The atmospheric setting is particularly enchanting at sunrise or sunset.

You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the ruins of the fortified granary, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and take a brief stroll along the river and through the village. The journey continues to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and a hub for Sahara desert tourism in the south. Here, explore the Taourirt Kasbah, featuring remarkable architecture that provides a glimpse into the world of ancient Kasbahs. The entrance fee is 2 euros or 20 dirhams per person.

In the afternoon, we embark on the return journey to Marrakech.
